The video is the first video recording since Boko Haram pledged allegiance to the Islamic State last year. A suspected Nigerian soldier, who was said to have been captured in battle in the North-East, was shown in the video. The video showed the said soldier in a kneeling position surrounded by three terrorists wielding AK 47 assault rifles and later another picture without the head. The location of the action was not specified in the latest video. Also, the leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, did not speak in the video.
