Alexandre Lacazette scored twice, as Arsenal beat West Brom 2-0 at the Emirates on Monday night.

The hosts almost went behind as early as the 8th minute, when Jay Rodriguex was taken down by Shkodran Mustafi. Instead of appealing for a penalty, the striker got up and struck a shot off the post.

Lacazette opened scoring 12 minutes later. The former Lyon man was the quickest to react to Alexis Sanchez’s free-kick, which came back off the crossbar.

He added his second from the penalty spot in the 67th minute, after Allan Nyom shoved Aaron Ramsey in the box.

Arsenal are now 7th on the Premier League table with 10 points.
