It appears the leadership crisis in the House of Representatives is not over yet. Some groups of members are advocating that the allotment of the offices for principal officers must be based on federal character principle.
A Spokesperson for one of the groups, Abdulmumin Jibrin from Kano State argued that relevant organs of the All Progressive Congress within the House of Representatives were not consulted by the APC National leadership reportedly communicated its position to Speaker, Yakubu Dogara on the remaining principal offices.
