Anatoly Aksakov, the current chairman of Russia's Duma state's Financial Markets Committee, believes that Moscow should enact new regulations restricting non-accredited investors in order to alleviate the country's poor investment selections.

To deter suspect crypto activity, authorities are considering enacting restrictions banning non-accredited investors' operations. Anatoly made the comments at a Bank of Russia-sponsored consumer protection event.

Reason for limiting non-accredited investors

Using crypto for investment is typically associated with high risk. Anatoly observed that digital currencies are the subject of their focus.
