Innoson Withdraws Motion Against EFCC, GTB

The Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday allowed an application by Innoson Nigeria Limited and its Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director, Mr. Blameless Chukwuma, to pull back an ex-parte movement they recorded against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) and Guaranty Trust Bank Plc.

They had looked for injunctive reliefs against the commission, Attorney-General of the Federation, the Police, the Inspector-General of Police and Guaranty Trust Bank Plc.

Among others, Innoson charged that his capture and confinement by the EFCC was actuated by GTBank.

He has since been discharged from detainment.

At the point when the case, documented on Thursday, came up before Justice Rabiu Hadiza Shagari on Friday, GTBank's legal advisor Adebowale Kamoru, asked the court not to hear the ex-parte movement.
