At first glance,  the HP 255 G7 look similar to HP 250 G7 with the overall plastic body build. The design gives the laptop a light weight but durable and strong enough to withstand rough days.

Furthermore, the HP 255 G7 still sports its regular thick display bezels, however, the sides bezel as been slightly trimmed. But the top bezel is still thick, hence, it perfectly accommodate the 720p TrueVision HD Camera.

Similarly, HP 255 G7 chassis housed the full size textured island-style keyboard which stretch all the way to almost fill up the chassis with numeric pad.

Below the keyboard is positioned the smooth and functional touchpad with multi-touch gesture support. The pad of course is plastic like the other part of the laptop.

HP 255 G7 comes with a TN based display panel. It features a non-touch 15.6-inch screen size measuring 39.6 centimetres, in diagonal with LED backlight.

Furthermore, the screen comes with an HD anti-glare the display panel with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, although there is also an option of 1920 x 1080 resolution.

HP 255 G7 also feature an image aspect ratio of 16:9, hence resulting into a bigger view of picture.

The HP 255 G7 is powered by a 7th Generation AMD A4-Series APUs processor. This processor comes with up to four different chipset options.
