The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Nasarawa State Command, has grabbed 36 suspects for apparently storing and offering fuel higher than the official direct cost of N145 per liter. Commandant of the Corps, Muhammad Mahmoud-Fari uncovered this on Wednesday in Lafia.
While parading the suspects, he called attention to that they will be charged to court to fill in as an obstacle to others. Likewise, he expressed that the NSCDC would keep on raiding petroleum stations occupied with sharp practices.
"We should keep on clamping down on petroleum stations offering over the official rates or storing the items," Mahmoud-Fari said.
"We will compel them to pitch to individuals from the general population at the administration affirmed cost of N145 per liter."
