In a tragic incident, two individuals, including a tea-seller, were killed by a thunderstrike during a heavy downpour at Onigbegiri Junction in Eyenkorin, Kwara State. The identities of the victims have been revealed as the tea-seller and an unidentified customer.

According to Royal News an eyewitness Mr. Mojeed Onigbegiri, said the thunderstrike struck the area at approximately 6:30pm, claiming the lives of the two victims instantly. The incident sent shockwaves through the community, leaving residents shaken.

Concerns have been raised regarding the removal of the lifeless bodies, prompting an appeal from the local community to the Kwara State government, Nigeria Police Force, and other security agencies for immediate intervention.
