Not long ago, an accident involving a Mini-Bus and a Truck belonging to the Nigeria Correctional Service, occurred at the popular Ọlá-Ìyá Area of Òṣogbo.

According to inside Osogbo,  No life was lost but the victims who were seriously injured have been rushed to the nearest hospital.

Recall, a Toyota Camry (Big Daddy) was involved in a collision along the same Ola-Iya Flyover in Osogbo yesterday afternoon. The person in the camry was hurt, but no lives were lost.

The incident caused palpable commotion around the area as commercial drivers and some youths protested at the scene of the accident.

A traffic official at the scene of the incident said the correctional bus driver who defied the traffic lights hit the moving bus and injured the driver and one other passenger.

"The driver of the minibus sustained serious injuries on the face and ankle while his passenger a woman going to her workplace also sustained serious injuries at her waist.

"Both the driver and the passenger have been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment".
