A CCTV Footage has revealed how a four-man armed robbery gang stormed and attacked a Zenith Bank Owerri branch – Wetheral road Owerri, Imo state capital on February 22, 2017.
One of the armed robbers was killed as three police men and five bank customers were injured in the process.

The CCTV footage of the robbery was released yesterday. Our ever hard working Police, well except some acting their own way, have now nabbed the driver and one other. That driver was feeling just like a boss during the robbery. How will it feel for you to keep feeling like a boss now in prison?



According to reports, the robbers had trailed a customer (who was also killed) with some cash to the bank (it is suspected that he owned the bag which the fourth robber carried out of the gate).

The police stated that three policemen sustained gunshot injuries while an AK47 and three magazines were recovered from the dead robber. the driver was caught at his father’s burial and the policeman who succeeded in killing one of the robbers didn’t die.
