Man stabs his wife’s lover after catching them red-handed in his matrimonial bed.

A Zimbabwean man has stabbed his wife’s lover to death after nabbing them pants down in his matrimonial bed.

According to iHarare, Oscar Mazorodze, husband of the woman who hails from Chirindagomo Village, Chief Chireya in Gokwe North of Zimbabwe has been arrested and arraigned before Gokwe Magistrate Busani Sibanda, over the murder of the wife’s lover, Johane Mareya.

27-year-old Mazorodze was reported to have left work early and arrived home unexpectedly at around 3pm on March 5, but found the door locked from the inside.

He broke the bedroom door and made his way into the room where he caught Mareya with his wife Brenda Dhlodhlo. The husband then grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed Mareya all over the body.

Neighbours stormed the house after overhearing the commotion and rushed Mareya to Gokwe District Hospital for urgent medical attention. He was pronounced dead upon arrival.

A post mortem will be carried out on his body.

Magistrate Busani Sibanda who presided over the case, remanded Mazorodze in custody till March 19 and advised him to apply for bail at the High Court.
