Many trapped as four-story building, working under development collapsed at around 2 p.m. today. in Jabi region of Abuja.

According to Premiumtimes, The building is located inside Jabi/Utako park, specifically inverse Panda shopping mall. Two individuals are dead from the occurrence.

The occurrence has caused overwhelming gridlock with numerous inhabitants and bystanders uniting at the spot of the fall.

As different witnesses, in excess of individuals are presently inside the building while two individuals have been accounted for dead. Witnesses said poor development added to the fall.

"It seemed like a bomb", said Chinedu Ike, a witness.

"The laborers, including a few ladies offering groundnut are caught inside."

Authorities from the FRSC, NEMA, common protection, police and other security organizations are at the building trying wild eyed endeavors to safeguard the general population caught inside.

The tractors brought were not adequate and development organizations have been called as fortification.

A police officer said two people have been confirmed dead but did not speak on record.



Some rescue victims including the contractor who have various degrees of injuries have been rushed to hospital.

An eyewitness said one of the workers trapped inside the rubble contacted him on phone, but “I could not hear him clearly.”
