The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria Gold FM (FRCN), Ilesa, has been gutted by flame. The occurrence which began at around 5 pm on Saturday obliterated hardware worth a great many naira. As indicated by onlooker, it took the intercession of men of the Osun State Fire Service in Ilesa to put out the fire after around 60 minutes.

Spots influenced are the live and recording studios, designing, programs, showcasing, Accounts and Administration divisions.  A host who was on obligation at the season of the episode, Ronke Olaitan, couldn't discover the reason for the fire occurrence.

As at the season of filling this report, the Divisional Police Officer of Ayeso Police Station was on ground with his men and sympathizers to render help.  The Chairman, Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Gold FM, Mr Isaac Haastrup, said it was a an unfortunate incident.
