A male bomber has killed seven admirers amid morning petition in a Mosque on Monday in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno.

Malam Ali Kolo, the Head of Vigilance Group in the territory, unveiled this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Kolo said seven different people including a tyke, supported wounds when the aircraft exploded the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) tied to his body amid the congregational petition.

He clarified that the suicide bomber sneaked into the influenced mosque at Mainari region of Konduga and completed the assault.

"It isn't clear how the suicide bomber penetrated the town and assaulted the mosque.

"The building crumbled amid the blast, and the casualties were emptied from the rubble," he said.

Alhaji Bello Dambatta, the Head of Rescue Team, Borno State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), affirmed the assault.

Dambatta said that the harmed people had been taken to the Specialist Hospital, Maiduguri, for treatment.
