Evans who has been described as Nigeria’s “richest and most notorious kidnapper” has shared details of his operations.
Evans was arrested and paraded last weekend by the police. He was arrested by the police Joint Special Forces led by the Intelligence Response Team, the Lagos State Police Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Unit and Technical and Intelligence Unit of the Force under the supervision of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State.
Evans revealed that he has two houses in Magodo, Lagos, and two in Ghana. He adds that he spends his money in Nigeria and hasn’t traveled since 2007. “I bought one of them (houses) for N130m,” he said.
“I don’t kill,” he told journalists, even though his gang has been responsible for the deaths of many.
Asked how he got a scar of a bullet wound on his shoulder, Evans said he was shot in South Africa when he was a drug dealer.
