One of the casualties of the Bodija showcase conflict between policemen in Ibadan and meat venders, has at long last passed on in the wake of investing days at the healing facility for treatment after the episode.

The brutality which happened a week ago started following the refusal of the meat dealers/butchers to migrate to another abattoir arranged by the administration who had before looked for court support to expel them.

Inconvenience began when butchers supposedly stood up to the policemen sent to authorize a court arrange for fixing off the Bodija abattoir. .This prompted the disorder, which grounded business exercises in the market.

Additionally, a police headquarters inside the market was wrecked by the dissidents. Five vehicles stopped inside the police headquarters were scorched while three others outside the premises were vandalized.
