The National Examination Council (NECO) announced that Paper I Computer Studies Practicals will be rescheduled to take place between Monday 19 October 2020 to November 16 2020.

This was made clear in a declaration by Azeez Sani, Head of the Division of Information and Public Relations, NECO.

As a result of the End SARS protests, which blocked the free movement of transport at the entrance gate to Benin City, the state capital of Edo, Sani said the paper was rescheduled.

He further claimed that two days earlier, the NECO delivery truck left its take-off point to deliver test materials to some states but was held up in the 'blockage.

This is to notify the general public and in particular candidates that the National Examinations Council (NECO) has been forced to reschedule the earlier Paper I Computer Studies Practical scheduled for 10 am to 1 pm on Monday 19 October 2020.

"The analysis of this paper will now take place from 10 am to 1 pm on Monday 16 November 2020.

This unexpected incident was triggered by a End SARS protest, which blocked the free movement of transport at the gateway to the city of Benin.

The Council wishes to inform all interested parties and the general public that the review materials concerned have been recovered intact and are in the custody of the vault of NECO.'

"While it may cause our esteemed stakeholders to regret any inconvenience this rescheduling may cause, the Council has nevertheless taken this decision in order to preserve the dignity and protection of its examination procedures for the smooth conduct of the Council 's investigation."
