Posted by: Miss Ifeoluwa« on: March 18, 2022, 04:49:25 PM »The Osun state government has issued a 21-day ultimatum to Rasheed Olanrewaju Oyedeji, the Bursar of the Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun, over missing funds from the institution's coffers. The state Auditor General, Folorunso Adesina, issued the letter on March 14, 2022. According to the letter addressed to the institution’s Provost, it was alleged that the missing funds, which is to the tune of four hundred and twelve million, three hundred and fifty-nine thousand, nine hundred and two Naira, ninety-seven Kobo (N412,359,902. 97kobo), were proceeds of financial misconduct and infractions. Adesina alleged that the bursar had disposed of some documents that would have revealed more missing funds and advised him to produce the hidden documents before the last date of the ultimatum or face the full weight of the law. Oyedeji was also given the option of refunding all the missing funds and to make available the demanded records or face the consequences.
