The two music stars took the lid off the #DisruptionAfrica teaser campaign that has taken social media by storm for days driven by mind-bending images and distorted quotes to end growing speculation within and outside the entertainment circles. They announced that they will be co-headlining the Lagos leg of ‘Buckwyld ‘n’ Breathless: The Disruption’ and a couple more cities across the continent to be subsequently announced. The ‘Love is a Crime’ hitmaker added that the Buckwyld ‘n’ Breathless 2016 concert will kick off in Nairobi, Kenya on June 11 with East African band Sauti Sol and Churchill co-headlining, while the Nigerian edition is scheduled to hold on September 3, 2016. The first in the series of shows to mark the return of the concert experience will also feature guest appearances by Nigerian comedian Ali Baba, Tanzanian recording artist Vanessa Mdee and Kenyan comic, MC Jessy. ‘Buckwyld ‘n’ Breathless’ is credited with changing the game and setting the standard for mainstream music concert production in Nigeria, with series of successful concerts in Lagos and London under its belt. The 2016 series seems poised to deliver delightful surprises over the next 18 months.
