Cardi B Apologizes to Martin Luther King’s Family Over “Real Housewives of Civil Rights” Skit. TMZ shared a video of Cardi B depicting Martin Luther King Jr's. late spouse Coretta Scott King in an ironical outline called "The Real Housewives of the Civil Rights Movement." The clasp demonstrates a few ladies contending over Dr. Ruler, who is alluded to at one point as a "scraper." Dr. Ruler's family, including child Martin Luther King III and daughter Bernice King, objected to the production and called it "loathsome."

Bernice King has since tweeted at Cardi, expressing gratitude toward her for "connecting and apologizing" and saying she looks "forward to chatting with [Cardi] soon." See the tweet underneath. Pitchfork has connected with Cardi B's agents for additionally comments.

“The Real Housewives of the Civil Rights Movement” was taken from an upcoming sketch comedy series called “Off the Rip,” which is helmed by “Wild N Out”’s Rip Michaels. As the Kings pointed out, the video was leaked on the 55th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s historic “I Have a Dream” speech in Washington, D.C.
