Headies Awards “Artist of the Year” 2018 winner Davido is adding more acts to his blossoming record label. A new addition has been made and announced by the label honcho. “Omo Shepeteri” Idowest is officially a new member of DMW. The shaku shaku star has been affiliated with DMW for a while before his official signing was done yesterday.

Davido already hinted on Twitter that he would be unveiling a new artist soon and left fans to guess who it would be. DMW is about the second largest label in Nigeria only second to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records. The record lab has stars such as Yonda, Peruzzi, Ichaba, Dremo, Mayorkun etc.


Idowest has been one of the artistes that has enjoyed massive success in 2018 since dropping his hit single “Shepeteri” in October 2017 as is a major ambassador of the Shaku Shaku wave which has swept the Nigerian music scene this year.

From now, we look forward to what this new signing will mean for the artiste as he settles into the DMW family which also has Mayorkun, Dremo, Yonda, Peruzzi and Producer Fresh VDM in its fold.
