Nigerian singer Davido, the owner of the record label DMW (Davido Music World), has signed Liya as the group's first female artist.

Earlier, the 30BG crooner had confirmed that a big move was underway to sign a female artist and rumors flew.

Some Twitter fans predicted he was about to sign Vee to DMW, the BBNaija finalists.

He shared a selfie with Liya, however, as they were jetting out to Abuja together.

Happy Friday, ANNOUNCEMENT SOON”, Liya wrote on her Instagram.

He later posted: "All my fans worldwide go follow @yes_liya !!!! Get to know!! WORLD DOMINATION !!!! #dmw"
