Back in March, when Dr. Dre earned his Hollywood Walk of Fame star, he promised on Jimmy Kimmel Live that Eminem would release a new album in 2024. A few weeks later, Em officially revealed the album, The Death Of Slim Shady, and released a trailer for it.

With a slightly cryptic message on social media, it appears that we know when we can expect the first taste of new music from the album.

Em just posted a video that looks like an iMessage screenshot. The message, sent with invisible ink, reads “…and for my last trick!” and was sent at midnight on May 31st, which is Friday next week. Of course, new music drops at midnight EST on Fridays, so fans think this is when we can expect a single, or maybe even the full LP. Some are speculating that “last trick” might be referring to this being the rapper’s last album.
