Terry G was well-known as the artiste to ginger the swagger of street music lovers, but balls differently these days with that ‘ginger’ moving on to Small Doctor.

The ‘Gbera’ hitmaker has undeniably released songs that have gone viral based on street appeal.

As a result, Terry G is no longer consistent with the style that bought his way into the music industry. He’s tried to be classy at 30 and you can’t blame him for wanting to change.

The singer whose real name is Gabriel Ochei Amanyi, made his debut in 2006 when he featured on Kemistry’s single, ‘Shake’, a song he also produced.

His hit songs between 2008 and 2014 include, ‘Testing Microphone’, ‘Akpako Master’, ‘Run Mad’, ‘So High’, ‘Free Madness’, ‘See Groove’, ‘Troway’, and ‘Sexy Lady’.

He also had several collaborations with artistes like Timaya, Ruggedman, Jaywon, Side One, Illbliss, AY.com, and Slizzy E during the period mentioned.

This year, Terry G struggled to stabilize his class with new singles; ‘Ferarri’, ‘Shayo’ and ‘Nonsense’ that already have visuals on Youtube.

Meanwhile, fast-rising musician, Small Doctor presently gets huge recognition on the street for his consistency and controversial lyrics, taking after Terry G.

His 24-month playlist include ‘Gbera’, ‘Uzobu’, ‘Mosquito Killer’, ‘My Story’, ‘Forever’, ‘Ile Ijo’, ‘Pakurumo’, and ‘You Know’.

This year, he’s had collaborations with Reminisce, Olamide, 9ice, Pasuma, CDQ, Eedris AbdulKareem, D’Prince, Jaywon, Obesere, and several others.

Small Doctor also received his second Headies nomination for ‘Gbera’, in the ‘Best Street-Hop Artiste’ category, which he lost to Olamide at the 2015 edition of the award ceremony.

He’s nominated again along with Olamide, Ycee, Koker, 2T Boys and Ajebutter for this year’s award.

The ‘Mosquito Killer’ singer has also performed in several parts of the country in 2016. His major shows include Felabration and Jimmy Jatt’s Lagos Concert, where the popular DJ reunited with Terry G on stage.

It was the first time that the pair would share a stage since the ‘So High’ singer was punished for slapping a disc jockey in June.

In the end, it is clear that Terry G has lost his street style to Small Doctor, and he’s not even competing with Olamide and Phyno.
