Four additional women filed lawsuits shortly after Brian Warner, better known by his stage name Marilyn Manson, settled with Game of Thrones actress Esme Bianco, who had accused him of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. This was in response to Evan Rachel Wood's claims in February 2021 that she had been abused in their relationship ten years earlier. In stark contrast to the allegations of abuse made in 2010, this most recent lawsuit was brought about by an incident that occurred in 1995, at the beginning of R. Kelly's career. Under the alias "Jane Doe," the adult plaintiff is suing Warner Music Group, Interscope Records, and Nothing Records for alleged intentional infliction of emotional distress, sexual battery, and negligence. The plaintiff claims that she first met Warner when she was 16 and went to his concert in Dallas; Inquiring about their ages, school grades, home addresses, and phone numbers, he had invited her and another girl to board his tour bus., Rolling Stone says so. According to the claim made in the lawsuit, "Defendant Warner performed various acts of criminal sexual conduct upon Plaintiff, who was a virgin at the time, including but not limited to forced copulation and vaginal penetration" while they were traveling on the tour bus. Texas at the time had a consent age of 17 and still does. According to the lawsuit, "Defendant Warner sexually assaulted Plaintiff while one of the band members was watching." The plaintiff was terrified, humiliated, in pain, scared, and confused. Defendant Warner laughed at her after he finished. Then, Defendant Warner told Plaintiff to "get the fuck off of my bus" and threatened to kill her and her family if she told anyone. However, the woman claims that she kept in touch with Warner, who allegedly persuaded her to travel to New Orleans to meet him at a concert when she was 16 years old. She says he started grooming her there, and she continued to see him there over the next few years while she went with him on tour. In addition, the filing claims that Warner had set up the necessary strategies to intimidate and silence Jane Doe while she was still a minor. According to the suit, "Defendant Warner coerced her to have sex with him throughout the tour and while within the State of New York, when Plaintiff was with Defendant Warner both on concert days and on off days." Plaintiff was frequently coerced by defendant Warner to have sex with him, other band members, or his assistant simultaneously. While providing Plaintiff with drugs, defendant Warner controlled what Plaintiff could do, who could touch Plaintiff, and who he wanted Plaintiff to have sexual relations with. According to the lawsuit filed against Interscope and Nothing Records, these labels knew about Warner's "practice of sexually violating minors" and "abetted such behavior." “As a result of Brian Warner’s sexual abuse and assault, enabled and encouraged by Defendants Interscope and Nothing Records, Plaintiff has suffered severe emotional, physical, and psychological distress, including shame, and guilt, economic loss, economic capacity and emotional loss,” the filing states. For more than two years, a multitude of women have spoken out against Warner and accused him of sexual assault and abuse. Yet, despite the settlement from the latest lawsuit, he has not yet been found guilty – although another anonymous woman is still in the process of suing him. In March 2021, Warner prosecuted Wood and her colleague Illma Gore for defamation of character, emotional distress, and falsely representing themselves as FBI agents. The trial is expected to take place before the end of the year.
