Posted by: Mr. Babatunde« on: May 31, 2023, 12:20:07 AM »Earlier this year in an interview with TMZ, DJ Drama spoke about the success and impact of Lil Uzi Vert’s ‘Just Wanna Rock‘, saying that “it’s fair to say (it) has replaced, with all due respect, ‘Dreams & Nightmares’ as the new anthem of Philadelphia”. Meek didn’t take too kindly to the comment, defending his own song and saying that there was no need for Drama to speak about it. It looks like it has spiralled into a bigger issue over the last few months because on Twitter, Meek Mill has come out and called Drama a “goofy”, sharing contentious text messages between the pair. Drama seemed to have an issue with Meek not wanting to do something involved with his rollout while Meek’s stance was why would he if he wasn’t even on Drama’s I’m Really Like That album. Meek went on to call Drama an “industry lame” and accused him of not doing any charity work for their city, amongst other things. You can check out the series of tweets below.
