Being an International artiste might have it’s perks, but it also has its downside as hip hop superstar Chris Brown would very well know.
Due to his outstanding case with former beauty queen, Baylee Curran, Japan has reportedly denied the singer a working visa to perform in the country. Last month, Curran called police while she was in Brown’s home and accused him of pulling a gun out on her after she was admiring some jewelry.

Chris Brown denied Japanese visa
This resulted in a well publicized standoff between Brown and Police that took hours. The LAPD surrounded his home before he was arrested. He is currently out on $250,000 bail.
Chris Brown is scheduled to perform at the Tokyo International Forum on September 26-27. His team has however confirmed that they will attempt to reapply for the visa before then.
It’s worth remembering that Brown also had troubles with the Australian Government last year. He had been denied entry into the country because of his probation from domestic violence against Pop star Rihanna. The promoters eventually canceled the tour.
