The singer whose ‘Maradona’ hit is enjoying massive airplay told The Netng that she once participated in Nigeria Idols auditions where she was rejected because she got the only ‘Yes’ from Dede Mabiaku. She revealed during the interview that her entry into Project Fame was an effort to show her beautiful talent in music. “I have had moments when I was rejected. ‘In fact there was a time I was turned once down during Nigerian Idols, two out of three judges were not satisfied, just Dede Mabiaku stood up for me, saying I could sing,” she said.
