Davidson holds his cheque having ended as the best male contestant

After selecting a final list of 10 contestants, five females and five males, Davidson and Omoh were then announced as the overall winners of this year's competition.

There had appeared to be a Steve Harvey moment after the name of the winner seemed to have been mispronounced by the announcer.

Because of the closeness of both names in pronunciation, Oma thought she had won, and was already being congratulated, before the mistake was rectified and Omoh declared the rightful winner.

Steve Harvey had similarly crowned a wrong contestant as winner at the 2015  Miss Universe pageant.

Both Omoh and Davidson, winners of the 2016 edition of Elite Model Look Nigeria will now go on to represent Nigeria internationally at the Elite Model Look in Paris.
