Not even Ernest Obi who publicised news of Elder Maya’s death back in May. So far, only Yoruba actor, Yomi Fabiyi has paid tribute with this post he shared on Instagram, ‘RIP Elder Mayah. You were a veteran and a hard working one at that. Journey well papa. My concerns and sympathy with his families and close colleagues. #SAVENIGERIAMOVIEINDUSTRY register shares in the grief of AGN‘. In a chat with The Net, Yomi Fabiyi says, ‘there’s not a lot of details about his death yet, you know we got to know about it last night and it wasn’t a good time to be asking about how he died and all but I’m sure he died in his hometown in Okija, Anambra State.’ Back in May when news of his ill health got out, Abuja-based cleric Joshua Iginla came to the actor’s aid with the donation of N1m.
