After a steel stage barricade crashed on Saturday night at the Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival, four individuals were hospitalized, reports CNN.
The Seattle Fire Department said 25 individuals have been assessed for injuries and four have been transferred in stable condition to the Harborview Medical Center. In a declaration, Bumbershoot classified the injuries as "threatening non-life."
The incident took place during Jai Wolf’s performance, which was cut short by police. “As soon as I walked on stage tonight, one of the steel barricades separating the crowd from the stage collapsed due to the crowd pushing and jumping on the hill,” Jai Wolf wrote in a statement.
“I cut the music because I noticed members of the audience had fallen on top of each other.” Jai Wolf has rescheduled his performance for tonight.
