Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were among the goals for Manchester United as they started their Premier League campaign with a 3-1 win over Bournemouth.



The Red Devils got off to the perfect start in Jose Mourinho’s first league game in charge, with his former Chelsea charge Mata opening the scoring in the first half.

Rooney headed in a second for the visitors before Ibrahimovic’s fine strike from distance sailed into the net.

Bournemouth pulled one back later on through Adam Smith, but it remained a comfortable win for United.
