Arsenal have been handed a favourable draw after being paired with CSKA Moscow in the Europa League quarter-finals.
Arsene Wenger’s men, who progressed past AC Milan in the round of 16, will be home first.
Arsenal have never won in a UEFA competition against CSKA – drawing 0-0 and losing 1-0 in their two previous encounters.
The hot favourites Atletico, who were eliminated from the Champions League, and so dropped into the second-tier tournament will face Portugal’s Sporting Lisbon.
The first legs will be on Thursday 5 April, with the return games taking place on Thursday 12 April. T
The semi-final draw will be on April 13 with the games played on April 26 & May 3.
The final in Lyon is scheduled for Wednesday May, 16.
