Uefa Champions League defending champions, Real Madrid, are through to the knockout stage of the competition after a 0-2 thrashing of Italian giants, AS Roma. Bayern Munich also thrashed Benfica 5-1 on Tuesday to qualify for the Champions League’s last 16 and ease the pressure on coach Niko Kovac.
