Its no more a news that the ongoing anti buhari protest is still holding in Nigeria, Today Feb 6th. Corruption hasn’t gotten better, it has gotten worse. Nigerians in the UK have stormed the Nigerian High Commission in UK this morning demanding to see the President or know his whereabout. According to them, they want President Buhari to address them since extending his vacation indefinitely.

#IStandWithNigeria protesters demand sack of “grasscutter”

Professor Chidi Odinkalu joined “IStandWithNigeria protesters at Aso Villa Gate in Abuja to call for the sack of the “grasscutter”.

It is in obvious reference to Babchir Lawal, fingered in nearly N270m contract scam to clear grass n Yobe state.

“Corruption hasn’t gotten better, it has gotten worse,” said Odinkalu.

Odinkalu, an ambassador for ending violence against children and formerly on the board of the National Human Rights Commission, said government should be transparent in its dealings, among five demands the #IStandWithNigeria groups made at the Villa gate.

Among their demands:

Transparent govt
Security
Reduced cost of running the government
Improved power supply.
Among the protesters, Aisha Yesufu, insisted the most important office is the "office of the citizen”.
As such the office  of the president is employed by the citizens, she said.
