The United States of America has denounced the killings of help specialists amid a Boko Haram assault on an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp at Rann town, Borno state.

In an announcement posted on the site of the US consulate on Friday, the US government mourns with the groups of the casualties.

The announcement read: "The US firmly censures the slaughtering of three Nigerian guide laborers in a Boko Haram assault on an Internally Displaced Persons camp in Rann, Borno State.

"We stretch out our most profound sympathies to the groups of the casualties, and to each family whose friends and family have been influenced by this and other psychological oppressor acts.

"We voice our sincere solidarity with each one of those compassionate laborers who work each day to help Nigerians influenced by the continuous uprising, and furthermore with every one of those security powers and Nigerian nationals cooperating to end this fear based oppressor brutality.

"The United States remains solidly dedicated to guaranteeing helpful laborers are ensured and ready to do their lifesaving work and to supporting Nigerians as they boldly work to guarantee their country's security."
