This makes Glo only the third mobile network in Nigeria to activate 4G LTE, after nTel and MTN. The announcement was made via the telco’s official Twitter account earlier this afternoon. Glo 4G LTE data plans range from as low as ₦500, for 1.6GB (1 week) to as high as ₦1,000, for 3.2GB (30 days). So far these are the most competitive prices yet for mobile 4G LTE in Nigeria; quite consistent with the telco’s usually affordable pricing for 3G data plans. The data wars are very much alive — a little birdie tells us Etisalat will also be upgrading its artillery very soon . You can confirm if the service is available in your area now by dialling *777#. Have you tried Glo 4G LTE yet? Please share your experience in the comments section below.
