PlayStation 4 is here with us and it comes in two models, the Slim and the Pro models with its intriguing excitement and fun. Sony is happy to unveil this latest gaming console to the game lovers all over the world including the price tag.

According to Sony’s CEO, Andrew House, PS4 slim will be the “standard” PlayStation 4 moving forward, and it’s designed “to appeal to as wide an audience as possible.”

It’ll be available from September 15 in most markets, and Sony’s going to be priced at $299.

Like the name implies, it is a thinner and lighter model. However, other than the obvious size difference, there’s nothing much going on inside as you still have almost the same internal hardware. There is the HDMI out and Ethernet port, but you no longer have an optical port. Also, the refreshed console also supports 5GHz WiFi for faster download and upload speeds.

Meanwhile, the Playstation Pro codenamed Neo will come with a faster processor, better graphics, and support for 4K resolution. It launches November 10th, and it will cost $399. The PS4 Pro has a boosted CPU clock rate, a 1 terabyte hard drive, and more than double the power of the PS4 GPU.
