Doctors Suspend 72-Day-Old Strike In Kogi

Doctors under the sponsorship of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Kogi part, have suspended their 72-day old strike to empower facilitate arrangements with the state government.

The director of the part, Godwin Tijani, said this on Tuesday in an announcement after an Emergency Congress Meeting of the relationship in Lokoja.

He said the suspension was to respect the NMA National President, Mike Ogirima, who spoke to the congress to suspend the strike, to assist discourse with the state government.
