Chandra Liow's long wait to debut as a director, to release his first film finally paid off. The reason is, because of the pandemic that hit, the schedule for the release of the film entitled "Bucin" is often delayed, because cinemas have not been allowed to operate during the pandemic.

Finally, on September 18, 2020, the film was officially launched via the Netflix streaming service. Following in the footsteps of the film Guru-Gokil which was previously released on the same streaming service on August 17, 2020.

The film, which carries the comedy drama genre, tells the story of 4 friends played by Chandra Liow, Tommy Lim, Jovial Da Lopez, and Andovi Da Lopez who take an anti-bucin (love slave) class to prove that they can escape from the oppression they suffer and so that they can be more mature in a relationship.

“12 years ago I dreamt to become a movie director, but now that is still the question, am i a movie director? Tomorrow is the answer, ”Chandra wrote in his Instagram caption exactly one day before the film's launch.

Although this is not the first time that Chandra has played a directorial role, he has often directed his YouTube videos, and this is not his first film either, he has been a film actor several times.

But this is Chandra's first time becoming a film director. It is not surprising that this film has advantages and disadvantages considering that this is Chandra's first time directing a film.
