Jennifer went in and sat down looking at them with no impression on her face,
“we have made our decision Jennifer and I hope this won’t repeat itself again in this school. There should be no complain about you from any student, and please Natasha and Theodore, try your best to stay very far from her. You both are in your finals and she’s just a fresher, give yourself that respect okay, The man said and they nodded.

“And again Jennifer, you wounded Natasha and ruined her clothes which you have to pay for the damages, the man continued.

“No way I don’t need her filthy money, my daughter has enough money and dresses to give out and I will treat her wounds. Just stay clear from my daughter else I’ll deal with you, Natasha mom came in.

“OK I think that will be all for now, you can all go, The man said.
“Thank you sir, Jennifer said and was about to get up.

“So won’t I get an apology from her for what she did? Natasha asked.
“Just what I was thinking, a man said supporting her.

“Jennifer what do you have to say? The school authority asked.
“I am sorry but please stay very far from me and I hope the students will be called to order also to avoid such issues again, Jennifer replied.

“The information will be given out, and also if there’s anything I need to know don’t hesitate to let me know, the man said.
“Thats a relief sir, thanks again, Jennifer said and left immediately.

Natasha went out with Theodore as the meeting continued inside with the rest, “she’s so unimaginable, Natasha said to Theo.

“So you still go about telling people I am your boyfriend? Theo asked.
“Common Theo please don’t start, she replied.

“Don’t start what when you’re the originator of everything. We are done Natasha stop the fake claiming, I am not your boyfriend! Theo shouted and walked away while she ran after him.

“I don’t believe that, I am the only girl you can love in this school and no girl can stand my class here. Didn’t you say you go for class? She said to him.
“Obviously it can’t be your type of class, just leave me alone, Theo said.

“Theo stop this, how long will I apologize for what I did when we got admission together. I’ve tried to be my best just for you and this insult I received today is all because if you yet you are treating me this way, I don’t see that fair at all to me, please Theodore, Natasha said holding him but he looked at her.

“You just don’t get it don’t you? I don’t love you and there’s nothing you and I can do about it, He said and left.
“Not too quick Theo, when I’ll have you you’ll be shocked yourself, she said in her heart with a smirk……………..

Jennifer got home and laid on the bed weakly as she thought about all that happened today, “you are nothing, read my lips you are nothing…. I go for girls with class” Theodore words kept ringing in her head.

She got up looking at herself on the mirror side by side and sighed.
Her hair has always been in a simple pony style and she let go of the band tying it letting her hair pour on her shoulders.

“You need to show the real you Jennifer, enough of this insult and show them you were a queen, she said to herself and brought out her makeup bag shaping her eyebrows and applied a little makeup.
When she was done she looked at her wardrobe throwing down the clothes that were on it, changed up and left the room.

Annabel and Treasure got back home and saw Jenny clothes on the floor, “who did this? Annabel asked picking the clothes on the floor while Treasure dialed her number.
“She is not picking up, Treasure said after many rings.

“I think she did this out of anger considering what happened today, poor girl, Annabel sadly said.
“But I don’t understand why everyone is just attacking her, its not funny anymore but am glad the authority has warned the student to let her be, Treasure replied joining Annabel to pick the clothes up.

Minutes later the door opened and Jennifer walked in which the ladies just stared with their mouth open, “who am I seeing? Treasure asked getting up.
“Hello ladies, how do I look? Jennifer asked turning around and Annabel screamed hugging her.

“Oh my God Jenny you will kill some people in school. Is this what you’ve been hiding all this while? Treasure asked..
“Well I wanted to be calm but I was not appreciated, so? Jenny asked smiling.

“I can’t wait to see Natasha reaction when she sees you, here is our new model and fashionista! Annabel shouted.
“Oh is she the school model? Jenny asked.

“Yes of course, They replied.
“Now I see, sorry for the mess I did in the room, I needed to change my wardrobe, Jennifer said dropping the bags she came with.

“I can’t wait to see what’s in there, they happily said sitting on the bed while Jennifer brought out what she bought……………………..

“How did it go? Daniel asked.
“Not bad but I heard something about this Jennifer of a girl which is strange to me, Theo replied.

“And what could that be? Daniel asked.
“She was in her finals but was expelled before she came here, that’s very strange, Theo replied.

“Expelled in her finals? Oh my God that’s the highest realm of wickedness! Daniel shouted.
“Daniel please i am having headache already, don’t add to it with your noise, Theo said.

“But i feel so sad for her, Daniel said and Theo scoffed.
“Whatever, I was warned to stay very far from her and that I will do, I won’t waste my time to know what happened in her previous school because if you’ll ask me she deserve all of it, Theo replied.

“Theodore! No matter what happens don’t be this hardened, this is not you bro, Daniel said.
“Oh please just let me be, Theodore said getting ready to gym.

“Theodore look……. “Daniel its enough please, thank you, Theo interrupted him and put on his headphones…………………….

“You should have let me deal with that girl, look at what she has done to you, Lydia said.
“We can’t do anything now but there at better and silent ways to cut her feathers, Natasha replied.

“Which is? Lydia asked.
“I want you to find out every details about Jennifer Mark and why she was rusticated. Nothing will hurt her more than that because i saw the look on her face when the authority mentioned that. I will use that to get my revenge on her, Natasha said smiling.

The next day Jennifer stormed into school a different person and called up Joy,
“Hello, its Jennifer speaking, she said..

“Hi are you in school now? Joy asked..
“Yea I just got in, I hope I won’t miss my lecture again right? Jenny asked..

‘Nope, its the classroom of yesterday, I’ll preserve a seat for you, Joy said.
“Thanks darling, I’ll be there soon, Jenny said smiling and ended the call and noticed some students taking pictures of her.

“You guys are just unbelievable, she murmured and located her class.
“Oh my gosh! A guy exclaimed in class when Jennifer walked in inviting all the stares on her..

“Good morning darling, how was your rest? Jenny said pecking Joy.
“I can’t believe this, you’re looking so stunning today, Joy said.

“Seriously, well I just want to, Jenny said and smiled at the way the students was just staring..
“Good morning class, she waved at them.

“Welcome, they replied.

“Morning Jennifer you look so beautiful today, can I be your friend please? A girl replied coming to her.
“Because am beautiful today? Jenny asked..

“No I have always wanted to, she replied.
“Ok sure, Joy is it okay by you? Jenny asked.

“I have no problem with that, Joy replied.
“Let me start by apologizing if we had wronged you in anyway, the girl said.

“nah its forgotten, so what’s your name? Jenny asked.
“Gladys, she replied.

“Nice to meet you, come sit here, Jenny said adjusting for her while she happily ran back to pick her bag from where she previously sat.

Few minutes later the lecturer walked in, while lecturing he threw a question which the whole class was dead silence.
“All phones down! He shouted when he saw some students who wanted consulting google for the answers.

“I ask again, what are exoerythrocyte and erythrocytic phases in plasmodium? The lecturer sternly asked and Jennifer raised her hand up.

“Yes please help us, the man obliged to her.

“These are the asexual stages in an anopheles mosquito……… “That’s just what I wanted to hear, give her a clap, The lecturer said stopping Jennifer which the class clapped as she sat down..

“What’s your name young lady? The lecturer asked.
“Jennifer Marks sir, she replied.

“Beautiful name, keep it up and read more on that okay, he said and she nodded
“Keep it up, Joy said winking at her…………….

“Isn’t she stunning? Look at this, Joy said showing Jennifer her phone.
“What’s all this? I hope this isn’t trouble again? Jennifer asked seeing her pic on net.

“Hell No! We are actually admiring it and people are already suggesting your pic should be used in our next edition of the school magazine. Awnnn girl you’re already famous, Joy said hitting her.

“I am not interested, after all am not the school model, Jenny said.
“And so what? It isn’t hard to vote for another anyway, Joy replied.

“Not when everyone hates me, Joy replied.
“Everyone you say? What about us? Do we hate you also? Gladys asked.

“Oh please I am feeling hungry here, can we go to the cafeteria now if only there will be no drama, Jenny said taking her bag.
“Bills on? Joy asked and Jennifer laughed.

“Naughty girl, common let’s go, Jennifer said and they left together.

Reaching the cafeteria the students kept staring either they are talking about her sneakers, her hair or how she beautiful she is.
“So what do you care for? Jennifer asked as they sat down and a young girl approached them.

“Sorry Jennifer, can I have a photo of you please? She asked.
“Sorry is this how you all walk about embarrassing people? I am no celebrity, Jenny replied.

“Sorry if you feel bad, its just that you’re beautiful and I’ll love to have your photo, The girl replied and Jenny sighed.
“Its okay, we can join in the photo right? Joy asked.

“Yea sure, The girl replied.
“OK Jenny give me a smile, Joy said tickling her and she laughed.

“Oh stop it fine. Just a shot, Jenny accepted.
“Thank you, the girl said and they took picture together.

“If you don’t mind can I be your friend? She asked.
“You want to? Fine its better than being enemies, Jenny replied.

“Thank you, I’m Franca, she said giving her hand for a shake.
“Jennifer, and she is Joy and Gladys, Jenny replied introducing them.

“Wow just a minute I’ll be here shortly, Franca said and Rushed to get her bag and snacks from where she sat.

“Are you thinking what am thinking, someone is getting followers already fit to be a model, Joy said when Franca left.
“Gosh its already suffocating me, Jenny replied.

“Soon no one will remember the Instagram rubbish that was going on, it will be Jennifer Marks, the queen of the Bridge institution, Joy said and Jennifer mood changed as she remembered all that went wrong when she was about to be crowned the queen in her previous school.

“Did we say anything bad? We are sorry, Gladys noticed and Franca arrived.
“You haven’t ordered anything yet or should I do that for you? Franca asked.

“Yea sure, what do you care for girls? Jenny asked pushing the feelings away……….

Daniel dragged Theodore to the cafeteria to join him eat, unknown to them Jennifer was there and the atmosphere there was quite different.
“So Jennifer can you sing? A student there asked.

“Yea just like your namesake Jennifer Lopez, I love her songs so much, another student said.
“I love Jennifer Lopez songs too maybe because we bear the same name, Jenny replied smiling.

“So what are we waiting for then, I am prepared, a guy shouted holding a guitar.
“Yea let’s hear you sing, the students shouted.

“Wait a minute, you can’t be serious, Jenny said surprised.
“Yes we are of course, what are you thinking? Joy asked with a frown..

“Jenny please sing for us, Franca added.
“Don’t worry I got you covered with my guitar, I am the best in it trust me, the guy said coming closer to her and Jenny coughed.

“OK fine let’s do it, it’ll be a short song, Jenny said and balanced herself ready to sing.
“Whats the title please? The guy asked.

“Let’s try love don’t cost a thing, jenny replied.
“Awnnn, sweet song, the students said and she smiled breathing in as Joy was already set to make a video of her.

She used 3 minutes and sang the bridge and chorus of the track as the guy neatly played to it with the guitar.
“Beautiful! The student applauded when she was done which Daniel left Theo and went to her.

“Hi remember me? Daniel asked.
“Sorry no, she replied.

“The guy you snubbed while jogging some days ago, he replied.
‘Oh I remember you, sorry for that, she replied.

“Its nothing, I’m Daniel maybe you won’t snub me again, Daniel said giving his hand for a shake.
“Sure if you’ll sit up with your jogging, it was very poor i must say, she replied.

“I am ready to do that. Beautiful voice, Daniel remarked.
“Thank you. And that was a nice play there, She said referring to the guy who played for her.

“Thank you. I’m Damian and always available to play for you whenever you want me to, he said shaking her.
“That will be lovely, Jennifer replied smiling while Joy rolled her eyes winking at Gladys.

“Hey why are you just standing there? Daniel purposely asked Theodore and their eyes met.
“Meet me in the laboratory, Theo replied to Daniel and left……….

“You won’t believe this today, the whole school is talking about Jennifer being the next campus model, Lydia rushed in to spill the news.
“You’re late. I know about it already, the post is just on everywhere. Don’t tell me she ruined my face to take my place huh? Natasha angrily asked.

“That can’t be, she can never take your place, Lydia replied.
“Bloody lie! Do you know the number of students gathered in the cafe laughing with her? Such has never happened to me, How did she win their heart that soon! Natasha screamed smashing her phone breathing hard…………………..

Daniel met Theodore in the lab and sat beside him humming happily, “what was that for? Theo asked.
“What? Daniel asked..

“Don’t pretend like you don’t know! What were you expecting me to do with Jennifer? Theo seriously asked.
“Nothing just to say hi that’s all, Daniel replied quite scared.

“Enough of whatever you are trying to play, just stop it, Theo said.
“Can you stop this seriousness of yours, did you see how stunning and talented she is? She’s just your spec, Daniel said and Theo looked at him sternly.

“Sorry, Daniel said and swallowed.
“I want to concentrate, Theo said and he nodded leaving the lab slowly………………..

Lydia who left after Natasha outburst returned and met Natasha still in that mood.
“I brought some news for you, Lydia said.
“Then say it, Natasha said not looking at her..

“Jennifer Marks, 20 years old……… “I don’t bloody care! Natasha shouted.

“Ok she was once at the Bright age university studying Parasitology. She got expelled because her nude pictures and videos was linked out to the school which was against the school rules and not fit for a model like her, Lydia added that made Natasha turned and looked at her and burst out laughing.

“Seriously? Nude pictures and videos? Can I see them? Natasha asked.
“Ouch the videos and nude must have been deleted, Lydia replied..

“Why are you a computer engineer? Search the Internet the way you can and fetch it out for me. I’ll show her she can’t trample on Natasha and take her place. I need that quick, Natasha said and Lydia nodded.
“I’ll be back, Lydia said and left…………….

Jennifer got home and her room mates couldn’t help but blow her ears with all they heard from the students in school.

“What school magazine is coming up? Jenny asked.
“It normally comes twice a year, the next edition will be next month, Annabel replied.
“I thought this model stuff is always done yearly too, or is it any different at the Bridge university? Jenny asked.

“Nope but anyone who wants to contest to get the crown have to win Natasha which no one has succeeded. But with all indication you are going there, Treasure said.
“No I am not interested, Jenny said.

“Hey hey hey don’t say that. What’s that for? If you’re scared we promise to give you our full support, Annabel said.
“Please forget it, I am not interested trust me, Jenny replied.

“You must be joking, when the time comes you will have no choice because your pic is already trending on net baby girl, Treasure said.
“Good for you, Jenny said with a frown as she laid on her bed thinking.

“Theodore didn’t look like he has noticed me or didn’t he see me clearly? Oh no Jennifer why are thinking of such a thing! She said and heaved cleaning her face as she noticed her friends looking at her.

“Hey why the stares? Jenny asked.
“So tell us what are you whispering there? Treasure asked.

“Nah its nothing, Jenny said smiling at the way the girls looked at her.
“One thing is remaining you haven’t told us, didn’t of the guys approach you today? Annabel asked.

“Guys? Which guys? Jenny asked.
“Do you have one in mind already? Common a guy approached you because there were a lot crushing already on net, Annabel said.

“Please I wasn’t interested or maybe I didn’t notice too, Jenny replied and they nodded looking at her.
“You don’t believe me? Jenny asked.

“How can we do that? They asked back.
“Then suit yourself, Jenny said they fell on her playfully tickling her.

“Are you going to tell us the guy or we are going to squeeze it out from you? They asked and Jenny phone began to ring.
“Please wait its my mom, Jenny pleaded and ran out with her phone.

“Hello mom Good evening, she picked up.
“You’re breathing hard, what were you doing? Her mom asked.

“Exercise, she replied.
“Exercise? Fine, What’s going on in the school? Her mom asked.

“Mom nothing everything is cool, Jenny replied.
“Shut up! I was waiting for you to call and tell me what is going on there in school, for your information I am following every happening going on there. What’s this news about you being the next campus model? Her mom asked.

“Mom are you following me? I…….. “Shut up and answer my question! Its barely 1 week Jennifer, your videos is already out and pictures. Did you just use the money I sent for you for registration to buy some fashion clothes Jennifer? Her mom asked and she was silent.

“Now I know you are not ready to change and I won’t let you embarrass me the way you did before. Pick your things and come back home now! Her mom shouted.
“Mom please I didn’t do anything wrong, I just changed my wardrobe and…….. “To get guys flocking around you huh? Her mom asked.

“No please i won’t wear them anymore, Jenny pleaded.
“I said come back home! She shouted.

“Mom you got it wrong, the students were picking on me at first but everything is cool now. I am not interested for the model stuff whatever please believe me, the past won’t happen again I promise, Jenny pleaded.

“You better be sure about that and yes, did you use all your money? Her mom asked.
“Yes mom, she slowly replied.

“Impressive in just few days. Now you are going to eat those clothes and survive till whenever I am to send your next upkeep. Have a good day, Her mom said and dropped the call and Jennifer heaved sitting outside with a ruined mood……………………

That night Theo went through the net to see the beautiful pictures of Jennifer tagged “isn’t she stunning?”
He heaved as he saw the comments mostly by guys which he began having a feeling of jealousy.

“Beautiful outside but unspeakable in character, he blurred out dropping his phone and went to Bed………………….

Jennifer mom call made her moody the whole night as she slowly removed the clothes she bought from the wardrobe putting back the simple wears she came with.

“What exactly is going on with you? Can you just let us know please? Common talk to us, Treasure said seeing the way Jennifer dressed up for school.

” its nothing okay I am fine, jenny replied.
“Is there anything your mom said to you yesterday? I noticed your mood changed after her call, Annabel said.

“Look girls I’ll be late for lectures soon, bye, Jenny said and hurried off.
She arrived school and surprisedly the students character didn’t change towards her despite we wasn’t dressed stunning like yestersay.

“Hi Jennifer, still looking beautiful, Damian approached her.
“Thank you, Jenny replied and a leg of her shoe detached.

“Oh my God why now! She exclaimed and Damian quickly went down carrying the detached shoe, “its not too bad, I’ll get it fixed for you, he said.

“Do you have to bother? Jenny asked.
“Its nothing, but you have to manage it to class then I’ll get it from you to get it fixed, Damian replied.

“This is so embarrassing, jenny said and Damian held her as they walked together which Daniel and Theodore was watching them from the car when they arrived school.

“I don’t trust this Damian of a guy, must he approach every pretty girl in school? Gosh i can’t forget what he did to Natasha knowing she is….. … ….”Daniel it’s enough okay, let’s go, Theo said taking off his seat belt hurriedly.

Getting off the car Natacha stormed into school dressed stunning and Theodore rolled his eyes as she was approaching him.
“Bad boyfriend, not even a call to ask about my health, she said taking off her sunglasses.

“Last I checked you were not sick and also I am not your boyfriend, Theo replied.
“What will you be then, my girlfriend? She asked smiling.

“I see you don’t attend lectures in the morning neither do you have anything important to do, I’ll leave you to flaunt with your new dress okay, excuse me, Theo said and walked away with Daniel while she smiled looking at Lydia.

“What makes you think he can fall for Jennifer? Lydia asked.

“Well I want him to fall for her and I’ll make it possible, so when I will release the shock out, it will be severe, Natasha said laughing.

“But for now, I will relax and let them enjoy while i dig more shocking stories for them, Natasha continued.

“Maybe the school magazine can carry it, Lydia added.

“No no no, they won’t know who strike them that hard, they don’t need to know so it will make them more confused, stupid and hurt. Common let’s get out of here, Natasha said laughing…………….

Strolling in school with Joy, a guy approached them,
“hi Jennifer, he greeted.
“hi, Jenny replied as they stopped to hear him out.

“I was thinking, can we seat and talk? He asked..
“Now? She asked.

“Yea now, he replied.
“Sorry what are we going to talk about? Jenny asked.

“Can you excuse us? I need to talk with her, the guy said referring to Joy.
“Excuse me, you can say whatever you want while she’s still here, Jenny stopped her.

“What’s that for? I want to talk to you is that a big deal? The guy asked.
“I can’t remember she stopping you from talking, I guess you don’t have anything to say, please excuse us, Jenny said and was about to walk away.

“You’re so irritating! Just an innocent chat with you are feeling like I am already asking you for sex when I can buy you anytime on my bed if I want to! He shouted and Jenny looked at him.

“Well you couldn’t beat the price so don’t blame me I refused you, I don’t go for cigarette size that can’t last for a minute, go work on your lazy a**! Jennifer shouted back that made the student laughed.

“You dare say that to me huh! He aggressively asked but Joy held Jennifer hand and walked away.
“You should have let Me leave in peace, Joy said to her.

“What for? Like you don’t worth to stand by me when he’s saying his trash? Jennifer asked.
“You don’t just know him, please just try to avoid trouble, Joy replied.

“Oh please spare me that, Jennifer angrily said and Damian approached them.

“What’s wrong? Your mood doesn’t look good at all, Damian said when he saw the expression on her face.
“A guy from no where just ruined it all, Jenny replied.

“What guy is that? Damian asked.
“How am I suppose to know? Jenny replied.

“Joy who was that? He asked.
“Please forget about it she’ll be fine, Joy replied.

“Its okay, please don’t ruin this pretty face of yours, where are two heading to? He asked.
“Joy is just showing me around, Jenny replied.

“Will you mind if i join? I know more better places that she does, Damian said..
“Argh I doubt that, Joy replied.

“OK OK you can join us and thanks for fixing my shoe, Jenny said.
“Oh that was nothing, Damian said and they saw Theodore approaching.

Damian quickly crossed his hand across Jenny shoulders as they discussed which Jennifer didn’t understand why,
“Hey man what’s up? Damian asked giving his hand for a shake but Theo ignored and walked away.

“Must you be this stinking rude all the time? Damian shouted throwing his hands up at him.
“Can you stop it now? Last I checked salutation is not love, Daniel came in facing him.

“Daniel let’s get out of here, Theo said dragging him.
“What’s the problem? Are you two fighting? Jenny asked.

“Me fight with him? Nah I gat better things to do than that, Damian replied but Jenny was just confused………………..

Jenny got home and got a call from Annabel, “just when I am thinking why you’re not back home yet, Jenny picked up..
“Sorry there’s a surprise birthday party of our friend, we wont be coming home anytime soon, Annabel replied.

“Don’t miss us too much! Treasure shouted on the background.
“OK have fun and remember there’s a lonely girl at home waiting for your return, Jenny replied.

“Awwnnn sure we will, bye, They chorused and dropped the call.
Jennifer heaved and got a glass of juice from the freezer but Theodore came in her head.

“Does he see me as an enemy now? I don’t know why am feeling this bad after knowing he’s a jerk, but the way he ignores me kind of hurt a lot, Jenny thought and decided to take a walk..

The street was quite busy as Jennifer strolled with her earphones on, she sighted Theodore and slowly removed the earphones and wished he could just talk to her.

Suddenly a young girl who was riding a bicycle fell from it spraining her leg which Theodore went to her lifting her up,
“Are you hurt? Theodore asked kneeling down to check her legs.

“My ankle hurts, the girl replied and Jennifer quickly approached them..
“Let me see, Theodore said touching the place slowly as she showed expression of pain.

“You can tie this on her, Jennifer said pointing her kerchief.
“It’s just a little injure and you’ll be fine, Theodore said and brought out his own kerchief and tied it around her ankle.

“Are you good now? Can you manage to ride home? He asked.
“Yes I will thank you, she replied..

“Be sure you show your parent that so they’ll do something about it, he said setting the bicycle for her.
“What about your kerchief sir? She asked.

“Well you can keep that, be careful okay, he said as she climbed on it.
“Thanks I will, she said and rode off as Jennifer just watched silently quite surprised with the gentle way he behaved and Theodore walked away without saying a word to her.

She wanted calling his name to stop him but she lost the boldness to and a call came on her phone.
“Dad is that you? She asked when she picked up.

“Jennifer how you doing? He asked.
“I can’t believe you are asking me that after 6 months of not hearing a word from you. How is your mistress? Jennifer asked..

“How’s your mom? Looks like she changed her line, he said.
“I see you tried it, so why are you calling? She asked.

“Like i don’t have the right to call my daughter? He asked.
“The daughter you care about so much right? She asked back.

“You were so glued to your mother, so what will you Have me do knowing you won’t come with me. But its so embarrassing to hear you were rusticated for some sex scandal after I left, was that what your mom taught you? my gosh how did you get there? He asked and Jennifer was swelling up already but she has to calm down knowing she’s still on the road.

“I get it, so I am trouble now? Daniel asked nodding and took his phone.
“I’ll be outside, Theo said and was about to go out.

“wait you need to see this, it was posted a hour ago about Jennifer, Daniel said giving him his phone
“Not again please, I am sick and tired of Jennifer stories, Theo said not taking the phone from him..

“A guy just recently posted saying Jennifer publicly insulted him in just wanting to have an innocent chat with her, Daniel said.
“So? What does that have to do with me? Theo asked.

“I know she can’t do that without a cause and he’s going to tell the school authority about it which is not good, please Theo do something, Daniel pleaded and Theodore burst out laughing.

“What’s seriously wrong with you Daniel? I think you’re getting crazy over this girl, are you in love with her? Theo asked and Daniel sighed.
“Must every sign of affection be that kind of love? I just like her and i don’t want her to leave. Her kind of person thrills me and I just love it, Daniel replied.

“Please Daniel carry on with your reading okay and stop bugging yourself Jennifer matters, Theo said.
“But you’ll do something about this right? Daniel asked.

Annabel and Treasure returned home and found Jennifer sleeping,
“Hello sleeping beauty, Annabel said touching her and Jenny woke up cleaning her eyes.

“You’re back? She asked.
‘Yap, sorry we are late but it was fun and you missed of course, Treasure said as Jenny checked the time.

“Common this is too late to walk in the night, she said.
“Oh that? Its no worry, my boyfriend dropped us off. Have you seen him before? Annabel asked.

“Boyfriend? Jenny asked.
“Hey I’m no kid okay stop that, Annabel said with a frown.

“Not that but you have a boyfriend yet you’re crushing on another, isn’t that hilarious? Jenny asked and they laughed.
“You are more hilarious. I was only crushing OK Jennifer, just crushing and that’s no big deal for me, Annabel replied.

“Whatever, welcome back, Jennifer said going back to bed.
“Thanks darling, they replied changing up……………….

The next day Jennifer arrived school not aware of anything and sat with her friends,
“Jenny what happened yesterday? Gladys asked.

“Yesterday? What really happened? Jenny asked back.
“Oh I forgot, that guy of yesterday posted about you saying you insulted him publicly, Joy came in.

“OK sir, she replied and the line went dead.

“Talking about the school authority, I’ve just been called, Jennifer said.

Going to the adminstration block they saw him going to the block too with his friends,

They met with the school authority as the man kept looking at Jennifer who equally looked at him too,
“I wasn’t expecting to see you again this soon, what happened? He finally spoke up.

“What did they say happen this time around? Jenny asked.
“Don’t dare play that prank on me when I am this serious! The man shouted and Jenny shook..

“But I didn’t do anything wrong, Jenny replied..
“Then what happened? He asked.

“He started it sir, that wasn’t my fault, she replied.
“Its a lie sir, I only wanted to talk to her friendly but she acted so rudely and screamed to the students saying that I have a cigarette d**k which can’t last for a minute, Leo came in.

“Aren’t you ashamed of yourself to spill such trash? Jenny asked.
“Oh you should be ashamed of yourself for being a bitch, Leo blurred out.

“I think I am just a threat to you guys and you all can’t stand my presence in this school that’s why you guys keep pissing me off, Jenny said.
“Maybe we don’t know why you were expelled in your finals, yes of course you’re a threat can’t you see? The man asked and Jenny sat looking at him speechless.

“I gave you a warning Jennifer and asked the students to stay clear from you but what did you do? He continued.
“If I should hear you correctly you asked the students to stay clear from me but he didn’t, he violated your orders, Jenny replied.

“Keep your mouth shut there young lady! The man shouted and a knock was heard on the door and Joy entered.
“Good morning sir, Joy greeted.

“Morning, can I help you? He asked.
“Yes sir, she replied.

“Who let you in? I am busy now okay, the man said.
“Sorry sir but I can’t leave without saying what I want to say. Yesterday I was with Jennifer when the incident happened, Leo approached us and wanted talking to Jennifer ordering me to leave them alone which Jennifer refused. He got angry and called Jennifer names which she retaliated back. Sir she’s innocent and any harsh judgement will be so unfair, Joy said.

“Shut up! Leo shouted on her.
“No I won’t, why are you all bent on frustrating her? What has she ever done to you all? Joy faced him.

“Its okay, you can go now thank you, the man said referring to Joy and she left.
The office was quiet for a while and Jennifer head was bowed after Joy left,

“I don’t know what to say anymore, but I don’t want to ever see this happening again. Jennifer there should be no report of you again, is that clear? He asked and she nodded.

“Leonard please stay clear from her. Now you two leave my office, the man said and they bowed and left his office.
They went out and met their friends waiting for them at the reception hall but Leo just passed them angrily and his friends ran after him behind.

“How did it go? Joy asked.
“Thanks to you, but you shouldn’t have bothered, jenny replied.

“I had to when I heard the noise and everything, its okay let’s go, Joy said holding her hand out.
“I feel so weak right now, I just want to sit down alone, Jenny said.

“What’s wrong? Joy asked.
“Don’t worry just go, Jenny weakly said.
“Jennifer? Joy sadly called out but she walked away and slowly went to the school park and sat down alone.

The constant reminder of her rustication was tearing her apart as she sat crying on her own.
“Will i ever get through this or should I just drop and accept my fate? Its obviously not working for me, why am I always rejected everywhere I go? She cried out losing hope already.

Minutes later she got a call from Joy which she had to put herself together and picked up,
“Jenny where are you? Our department is having a serious meeting, Joy said.

“Right now? Jenny asker.
“Yes, we are heading there now. Where are you? Joy asked.

“At the school park, I’ll be coming out now, Jennifer said cleaning her face.
“We are waiting okay, please Hurry up, Joy said and dropped the call.

Minutes later they arrived at a hall and sat down as the HOD of the department of Parasitology addressed them.

“Its so nice to welcome you all again to our first meeting, especially to our new admitted student this will be new to you but we normally do this yearly. I also want to apologize for the short notice, yet the turn up is applaudable, I really appreciate you am and thank you, please celebrate yourselves, he said and the students applauded.

“Alright for the first time this year we are going to do something different. We will be going out for so many trips in search of parasites, there will be a lot of researches we are going to do to gather more idea about this parasites and make you all understand and give you all deeper insights about your course of study. I hope you all love it? He asked.

“Yes we do! The students shouted.

“I’m glad you do. Everyone will be involved and none will be exempted from our new intake to the finals. Our coming together is to achieve a purpose which is to learn, which means in that trip there is no seniority whatever there. If you are in your finals please swallow it and work together with anyone you will be joined as s partner, don’t forget a report must be submitted and you’ll be scored with that.

Your different names and passports has already been complied and will be displayed right away in the projector, and when once you see your name with that of your partner, quickly identify whoever it is and get prepared for the trip in 1 week time.
Have a good day students, the man concluded and left the stage.

“Thank you sir, the students shouted clapping for him as they eagerly waited for the names to be displayed.
“I may be your partner Jennifer, Joy happily said to her.

“I want same too, Jennifer replied and the names and passports of the students were displayed as everyone seriously looked to know his/her partner.

“Theodore Kennedy partnering with Jennifer Marks, Joy read out as Jennifer didn’t know who that is.
“Do you know him? Jenny innocently asked.

“Of course, that is Theodore of course, Joy dropped.
“What! Jennifer shouted.

Daniel laughed pointing at the projector as Theodore couldn’t believe what he is seeing, “I hope its not the Jennifer I know? Theo found his voice.

“Your one and only, Daniel replied and Theo left the hall immediately which Daniel couldn’t follow because he has to see his name.

Theodore approached the HOD telling him he made a mistake with the name, “sorry I didn’t compile that, the man replied.
“But sir I can’t partner with such a person, we are in no terms, Theo said.

“Then you have to settle whatever differences you two may have or Better still talk with who compiled the names, the man replied.
“Who can that be? Theo asked.

“Your father, please I have to attend to something important now, The man said and left while Theodore stood in anger.
“Why should he do this to me! He shouted and left……………….

“But this is pure wickedness, he doesn’t like me to start with, how can we cope? Jennifer asked when she told her room mates the turn up of event.
“What are you going to do now? I think you should just swallow your pride and talk to him. Theodore is a cool guy seriously, Annabel said.

“But he doesn’t like me, he doesn’t even want to look at my face, I don’t know what to do, she worriedly said.
“Common you’re just assuming because of what happened between you two, am sure he must have moved on by now, Treasure said.

“No I can’t, I feel scared now, Jenny said.
“Scared? Jennifer why scared? Annabel asked.

“I don’t know, I just feel like its not gonna work and we will lose our scores for the report. Look we need to work hand in hand in the research and this can’t happen when we are not in terms, Jenny said.

“Fine, then be in terms or Better still push whatever differences you both have behind you and do this work,when you’re done you can forget about it. You said it yourself, that’s your assessment so the choice is yours, Treasure replied and Jennifer heaved with her eyes closed thinking hard…………………

“Dad how could you do this? You know I don’t want to have anything to do with that girl, Theo went to his father.
“You think I purposely did that huh? He asked.

“Yes you did, among all people dad why Jennifer? Theo shouted.
“Young man do you realize you are talking with your father? Theo dad asked.

“Of course and that’s why am this cold, You need to change us, Theo said.
“Sorry baby boy, the changes will surely affect the whole list, now deal with it, His dad said and walked away.

The next day Jennifer arrived in school and met with her friends, “is there anything we can do about this whole stuff? I don’t like my partner either, Gladys said.
“We can’t do anything, this is just for a while, concentrate on the purpose of the trip and all this will be forgotten when we are done, Joy came in.

“Is it that simple? Oh Joy I’ve been thinking all through the night about this, I am so confused, Jenny said closing her eyes.
“Don’t worry too much please, Theodore will just have to put up his best mood for a while. Please you two should not Ruin this adventure please, Joy said and the lecturer walked in.

After the lecture they left the class together as Jennifer mood was a bit brightened up, “you haven’t shown me the library yet, that’s a big crime you know, Jenny said.
“Library? You didn’t ask to know, Gladys said.

“But you should know I need it, I’ll love to go there please to ease my mood, Jenny said.
“Alright fine if you say so, Joy said and they left heading to the library.

Jenny did the necessary registration she is to do and she gave her bag to Joy who offered to hold it for her.
“Don’t forget the next class, Gladys said.

‘Sure, bye dear, Jenny replied and got inside.
Her eyes met with Theodore immediately she stepped in and her legs immediately got weak, she moved slowly to the books section has she suddenly had no idea of the book to pick.

She angrily took any book without looking at the name and summoned courage to sit closer to him.
Theodore was not bothered as he concentrated with his book like she was not noticed while Jenny kept stealing glazes at him.

Few minutes later she saw Theodore closing the book and stood to return it while she did too and met him at the book shelf,
“Hi, she said to him but he was silent.

“Can we at least talk? Jenny asked.
“You’re talking already ma’am, he replied..

“OK erm about yesterday erm… The partnering stuff for the trip what are we going to do? Jenny asked.
“What are we going to do? I am fighting to see my name will be withdrawn from yours, excuse me, Theodore said and walked away while she swallowed.

She dropped the book and ran after him meeting him outside, “don’t think I want this either but we have to accept it. I promise to be my best just for the sake of this, am sorry if I’ve wronged you, Jennifer said and Theodore looked at her and smiled.

“What’s bringing all of this up? don’t tell me its because of the trip for you see I am so sorry to say I won’t be participating in it. You can do your research peaceful because I can’t stand seeing you beside me, have a good day, Theodore said.
“I don’t blame you, you really think I love the sight of you in the first place huh? F**k you! Jennifer blurred out and walked out of him while he stood looking at her……………..

“The batch will be released tomorrow and the overall we are going to put on, I heard we will be dealing more of uniforms to make it colorful and organised. Have you talked with Jennifer yet? Daniel asked.
“Can’t you say something important for once in your Life? Theodore angrily asked.

“But she’s your partner and I am not wrong to ask about her, Daniel said.
“It will interest you to know I am not going and no one will force me to, Theo replied.

“No you must be joking, this is an adventure we will learn a lot, what is wrong with you! Daniel shouted.
“That is not your business and f**k whatever adventure that will be if I am going with a girl like Jennifer. Why didn’t they just put me alone? Theo shouted.

“I can’t believe you can turn up this way, is Jennifer really your problem in life? Daniel asked.
“Just leave me alone and stop forcing me to do things outside my will, Theo said.

“Suit yourself! Daniel shouted and left while Theo heaved rubbing his head not knowing what to do………………

“That guy is such a jerk! Going with him there is a big no for me and that will never happen gosh! Jennifer exclaimed when she met her friends in class which they sat not understanding anything.

“Can you please calm down and say what the problem is? Joy asked.
“The Theodore of a human being isn’t going because of me, jenny replied.

“But why? They asked.
“I just said because of me, to him he cant stand to see me what rubbish, Jennifer angrily said and Joy heaved.

“Look If they can’t accept me working without a partner, I won’t f*****g care and I wont go! Jenny added.
‘Please don’t say that. Oh God why is this happening? Gladys said not knowing what to say………………

The HOD called Theodore to his office showing him the microscopes and every apparatus needed for the research as they were packaged in his office,

‘I am putting this in your care, you and your partner have to be careful and watchful with them, none should get missing, the HOD said.

“Sorry sir can I ask a question? Theo asked.
“Go on, he replied.

“Is it mandatory every student must have a partner and what will happen if a student fails to go? Theodore asked.

“It is more than Mandatory to participate in this and failure of any student to attend, its total failure. The assessment will be marked for those who obeyed to embark on the trip and it will be assumed you’ve written your exams when the reports you and your partner will be assessed. In other words, if a student doesn’t participate, that’s automatically an extra year and yes, every student must have a partner, the HOD replied.

“But sir, sorry to say i think that’s ridiculous, Theodore said.
“That will be over for now Theodore, when next i need your presence I’ll call you, The HOD said and Theodore slowly left confused………………
