Those styles include Afrobeats, Assiko, Bongo, Decale, Funana, Genge, Highlife, Hiplife, Kwaito, Lingala and Soukous, but are not limited to them. With such a diverse array of different genres in Africa's music industry, the AFRIMMA awards not only put together various artists from the region as a whole, but also introduce new music genres and stars to music fans across the African continent. Last night in Dallas, the 2019 African Muzik Magazine Awards put together a good number of African musicians. Organizers and partners like Demand Africa made another big day for African talent for the day. Demand Africa has announced the 2019 AFRIMMA Committee.
