The glamorous 19th annual edition of the 2019 BET Awards ceremony was commenced some hours ago at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles with Regina Hall as the host.

African giant, Burna Boy beat Mr Eazi, Giggs, Dave, AKA to clinch the category for ‘Best International Act’, while South African queen, Sho Madjozi won ‘Best New International Act’ defeating likes of Teni, Headie One, Octavian and Nesly.
