The feeling something's just not right? Just seems like something is missing? Well, this is probably because it's been a whopping seven months since a movie has been released by Marvel Studios. And by the time "Black Widow" arrives in theaters, it will all have been ten months. Can you believe we’ve survived this long without the quips? Well, fear not, True Believer! Even though we’re barely into February, “Black Widow” is actually not that far away. And we have the new Super Bowl ad to prove it! Much like the previous trailers for “Black Widow,” the new clip just shows more of what you’ve come to expect from the film. There’s Scarlett Johansson, without the help of her Avengers cohorts, diving deep into her past to help save the world. And she’s enlisting the help of her pseudo-family, Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz, and David Harbour. Along the way, she’s doing all those flips and kicks and moves you’ve come to know and love, but this time, she might have met her match against the villain known as the Taskmaster. As the first film that really kicks off Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, “Black Widow” also showcases the studio’s recent pledge to do more in terms of inclusivity and diversity. Marking only the second solo female superhero film, after “Captain Marvel,” Johansson is finally getting a chance to shine thanks to director Cate Shortland. Unfortunately for fans of the Black Widow character, this prequel is a bit of a bittersweet moment, not only beginning her solo franchise but effectively ending it, as well, considering we know what happens to Natasha Romanoff during the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” “Black Widow” arrives in theaters on May 1.
