Posted by: Mr. Babatunde« on: December 14, 2018, 01:40:28 AM »Set in a Chicago neighborhood nearly a decade after an occupation by an extra-terrestrial force, “Captive State” explores the lives on both sides of the conflict – the collaborators and dissidents. “Captive State” is co-written and directed by Rupert Wyatt. The filmmaker is probably best known as the other guy to do a recent ‘Planet of the Apes’ film that isn’t named Matt Reeves. He’s also directed films such as “The Escapist” and “The Gambler.” “Captive State” has an incredible cast that includes John Goodman, Ashton Sanders, Jonathan Majors, Colson Baker, and Vera Farmiga. Though the trailer makes you believe that Goodman seems to be on the wrong side of history, his interactions with Sanders hint that there could be a change in mindset for the veteran actor. “Captive State” hits theaters on March 29, 2019.
