Oh, gone are the times of Melissa Joan Hart, a wisecracking feline, and carefree fun on ABC; now is the time of the dirty reboot, and it turns its eye to Westbridge, Massachusetts.

After Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa spun the Archie Comics characters into the fiercely prevalent homicide riddle "Riverdale," he appears to be identical with the famous adolescent witch, Sabrina. "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" gets rid of the fanciful notion of its prior manifestations and plants itself solidly in the domain of ghastliness, as Aguirre-Sacasa's kept running on the comic arrangement completed a couple of years back. Presently, the primary film for the arrangement has dropped, and it positively satisfies its title, with an air that feels more John Carpenter than John Hughes.
