Wow, that was the worst “John Wick” trailer I’ve ever seen.

Seriously, it’s hard watching the new trailer for “Destination Wedding” when all you can think about is Keanu Reeves pulling out a couple guns and murdering everyone on screen. Sadly, this is no “John Wick,” no matter how low and raspy Keanu’s voice is. Instead, “Destination Wedding” is a romantic comedy featuring Reeves and Winona Ryder.

And no, it’s not a “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” sequel, either.

“Destination Wedding” follows two socially awkward adults that are on their way to, you guessed it, a destination wedding. After a horrible meet-cute at the airport, with Reeves doing everything to avoid Will’s mom from “Stranger Things,” the two are paired up on a plane and end up falling in love, or something like that.

Honestly, “Destination Wedding” looks perfectly fine, if rom-coms are your thing. Ryder and Reeves are likable actors and given the right material, this could be perfectly delightful. However, after seeing Ryder play the manic mom on Netflix and Reeves kicking ass on the big screen, seeing them act so reserved seems…almost boring.

The film is written and directed by Victor Levin, who’s writing credits include the TV series “Mad About You,” “Devious Maids,” and “Survivor’s Remorse.”

“Destination Wedding” is scheduled to be released in select theaters on August 24.

Here’s the official synopsis for the film:

DESTINATION WEDDING reunites two of Hollywood’s most adored stars, Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder, as the socially awkward Frank and Lindsay. When they meet on their way to a destination wedding, they soon discover they have a lot in common: they both hate the bride, the groom, the wedding, themselves, and most especially each other. As the weekend’s events continually force them together – and their cheerlessness immediately isolates them from the other guests – Frank and Lindsay find that if you verbally spar with someone long enough, anything can happen. When debate gives way to desire, they must decide which is stronger: their hearts or their common sense.
