Armie Hammer has been capitalizing on his Euro trip motion picture parts. Obviously, he spent almost all of a year ago luxuriating in the glow of the Italy set, Oscar fighting "Call Me By Your Name." Now the on-screen character plays an attractive American in Paris in the forthcoming "Last Portrait."

Composed and coordinated by Stanley Tucci, and co-featuring Geoffrey Rush, Clémence Poésy, Tony Shalhoub and Sylvie Testud, the film recounts the genuine story of the connection between James Lord and the painter Alberto Giacometti. Here's the official abstract:

Last PORTRAIT is the account of the touching and strange companionship between American author and craftsmanship sweetheart James Lord and Alberto Giacometti, as observed through Lord's eyes and uncovering special understanding into the magnificence, dissatisfaction, significance and now and again the tumult of the creative procedure. Set in 1964, while on a short outing to Paris, Lord is asked by his companion, Giacometti, to sit for a picture. The procedure, guarantees Giacometti, will take just a couple of days thus Lord concurs — at last pondering "how much longer would it be able to go on like this?"

We called the film "a beguiling, unassuming look into a tenuous world," and it merits searching out. "Last Portrait" opens on March 23rd.
