The show will initially be a 10-part series; however, O’Brien hopes to expand the universe if it proves to be a success. And let’s be real, if this novel adaptation is half as successful as something from Hill’s dad, then AMC could have another horror series to hang its hat on, and it won’t involve
“The Walking Dead.”The show will star Zachary Quinto as the supernaturally powered Charlie Manx. Manx periodically rejuvenates by feeding on the life forces of children as he transports them to a fantasy world. The show’s heroine, Vic McQueen is a senior in high school in Massachusetts. She is played by Ashleigh Cummings.
In talking about Cummings’ character to EW, showrunner Jami O’Brien stated, “She’s a working-class kid who has such a creative mind that it actually gives her a kind of superpower.” She continued, “Charlie Manx becomes aware of her and realizes that she may be bad news for him, so he has to figure out pretty quickly what to do about her.”
“NOS4A2” will premiere on June 2.
