Kidding aside, “Die Hard” is a classic action film that created a whole genre of its own. For the last 30 years, there have been movies regularly hitting theaters that can be described as “‘Die Hard’ on a…”

Fox has released this trailer to help promote a special Christmas-themed 30th anniversary release of the film. This probably makes the 10th or so “special edition” of the film released on Blu-ray, but let’s be real, no studio is going to pass up the opportunity for some quick money during the holiday season.

The studio even released a version of the classic “Twas the Night Before Christmas” but “Die Hard”-themed:

‘Twas the night before Christmas, at Nakatomi Plaza,
The office party was festive, but soon interrupted by drama.
Hans Gruber and his men, had forced their way in,
And taken everyone hostage, trapping them within.
But how could they know, there was a cop up above,
John McClane had arrived, to win back his wife’s love.
He would take them all out, winning everyone’s praise,
Welcoming Christmas Day, with his favorite catchphrase.
